I had to eventually end my tour, but as a result, came to a
profound conclusion: beer is becoming as essential to the Ad-
irondack experience as paddling a canoe, rowing a guideboat,
hiking the High Peaks, skiing Whiteface, taking a ride down
the bobsled run, or skating on the Olympic Oval. Stop in to
an authentic Adirondack brewpub, ask for the local favorite,
toast the bartender, and tell them I said hello.
