Friday, March 6:
• Daytime movie showing of Harriet for local schools.
• 3-5 p.m.: Live broadcast of David Sommerstein's "Beat
Authority" at the Lake Placid Pub and Brewer y. Proceeds
to benefit Reason 2 Smile.
• 7-9 p.m.: Open viewing of Harriet, with intro by Harriet
Tubman biographer Kate Larson.
Saturday, March 7:
• 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Adirondack International Street Fair at
the Annex Building at the LPC A . Enjoy food from around
the globe, wares from West Africa to South America, in-
ternational games, face painting, Tibetan singing bowls,
and a kids' passport project!
• 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.: Globally inspired 1-hour work-
shops at LPC A: Dance, drum, coffee, wine, yoga, and
more! There will be kids-centered workshops as well as
multiple all-ages workshops.
• 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.: Live performances at the Inter-
national Street Fair: Watch internationally inspired street
performances.
• 8-11 p.m.: Dance party at the Waterhole with David Som-
merstein! To close down the best weekend of the year,
we will have a Dance Till You Drop night at the Waterhole.
