Dave has worked hard over the past few years at creating with mostly his own hands a clean, comfort- able and naturally beautiful guesthouse. North Creek and the GORE Region have endless adventure opportunities. Check it out and let Dave be your local host. 32 10 Tips for Solo Backpacking: It is a great time of year for backpacking and what better way to social distance then to go on a solo adventure. As things start to open up we will be there to support our local businesses, friends and neighbors. 46 Emergency Food Package Project: AdkAction: Communities coming together became even more important over the last few months. Times are hard for all of us, but for many families it was a level of unprecedented hardship. AdkAction took notice and action and began fundraising to help bring local products to those in need. This story shares the success for all those involved. 50 Scuba Diving in the Adks: So much to discover: Perhaps it has not occurred to you to try scuba diving in the Adirondacks. We tend to think of places like the Caribbean but this informative story sheds some light on what waits to be discovered under the water in various Adirondack lakes. 54 five lessons from around the world: We know our readers like to travel, so we are sharing these funny and thought-provoking lessons on wandering the world.
