Adirondack Apples: Delicious, crisp, fresh-picked apples say the fall season is here. The Adiron- dacks have several apple farms that are a must-visit each year. Walking along the rows of apple trees seeking the perfect apple is a tradition for many families. We encourage you to pick one or two of the farms mentioned in this article and go explore. The farms offer the opportunity to be safe, social distance and, of course, load up on apples. Capturing the Comet: For several days in July many of us were treated with a rare astronomical occurrence, a comet streaking across the sky. Comet NEOWISE was visible to the naked eye, but through the lens of various local photographers it really came to life. Hear how a few of these photographers were able to capture such amazing shots.
