Maintaining these things has always been important, but in the year 2020 it feels more important than ever. Identif y a few simple things that don't take a lot of time but bring you happiness and allow you to take a break if needed. Thankfully, the Adirondacks offer so many ways to enjoy a short escape. Fresh air and open space is always a good prescription for healthy living, and with six million acres, we certainly have plenty of that. Whether you're lucky enough to call the Adirondacks home or if you're a visitor, you know how fortunate we are to have this landscape. This summer the Adirondacks quickly became a popular spot for people seeking the opportunity to socially distance while being outside enjoying fresh air and open space. In this issue we bring you stories of inspiration, adventure, perseverance, passion, teamwork and wellness. As with ever y issue, it is our hope that you find these stories inspiring, and that you take from them something you need. We strive to include content that you can use and learn from.
