LOCALadk wants to acknowledge and thank the many people
who work hard to make snow, groom and maintain the many ski
areas within the Adirondacks. We oen don't get to thank the
person who was responsible for laying down perfect corduroy lines
on which to make first tracks. ese unsung heroes oen hit the
slopes as soon as we leave and work throughout the night and in
nasty weather to ensure we have safe trails to ski.
With the help of several ski areas and photographers, we put
together these photos to remind us to be thankful and to find a way
to show our appreciation for the hard working crew that makes it
all happen. Hail to the groomers!!
