LOW & SLOW
Story & Photography by Paul Sorgule
e sun rises a bit later and sets far too early this
time of year. e Adirondack mornings unveil a
crisp freshness that is challenging to describe—
it must be experienced. e ground crunches
beneath your feet on early morning walks, oen
leaving footprints in a fresh dusting or maybe
even a few inches of new snow. Wood fires release
their aroma as residents work at tempering
winter's bite, and an extra sweater is now the
uniform of necessity for a few months.
