LOCALadk 12 W H O ' S W H O ANNE KRISTI JEFF Kristi Brennan is a grateful mama to two boys, one dog, one cat, and one rescue tarantula. She is overjoyed to have moved inside the Blue Line just last year. A lover of the outdoors in any season, Kristi enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping and snowshoeing all over the Adirondack Park. I was born and raised in Lake Placid and feel fortunate to call the Adirondack North Country my home. I received a bachelor degree of science in biology from the University of New Hampshire, and completed my Orthotic Practitioner Certificate program at Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Over the last decade, I have built a practice specializing in custom and small production designs for adaptive athletes of all skill levels, from paralympians to amputees trying new sports. Anne Brewer lives in Lake Placid. She is an avid outdoor sports enthusiast, kayaker, hiker, skier, photographer, and traveler. Anne earned a degree in International Business and Communications from SUNY Brockport. In addition to being the Managing Editor and Owner of LOCALadk , Anne guides for Adventures in Good Company which leads worldwide hiking and kayaking trips for women. Anne is also a Real Estate Agent with Merrill L. omas out of Lake Placid. LOCALadk SARAH ANNA Sarah van Rijsewijk is a local to Lewis, New York. She lives in an old farmhouse with her husband, their 2 daughters, 2 cats and sled dogs. She is an outdoor enthusiast, professional Tarot Advisor, author and freelance writer. Anna Laloë, PhD, is the mom of two daughters, Anne-Sophie, 12, and Zoe, 10. She conducted climate science in the Arctic and Antarctic for a decade and is now a consultant for Arcadis, a global environmental consulting firm. Dr Laloë has been riding and racing mountain bikes since 2015 and is the founder and executive director of Saratoga Shredders.
