LOCALadk 63 THE HULK is green machine of a smoothie hits in all the right places. Amazing nutrition from greens. Digestion and anti- inflammatory properties from ginger and turmeric, and tons of protein from its nutty topping. Ingredients Smoothie 6-8 oz. coconut water 2 sprigs kale ¼ inch piece or ½ tsp. fresh turmeric ¼ inch piece or ½ tsp. fresh ginger ¼ cup cashews 1 cup frozen pear Toppings 1 Tbsp. flax seeds 1 Tbsp. chia seeds 3 Tbsp. walnuts or nut of choice Directions In a blender, add coconut water followed by all other ingredients. Blend on high till super smooth and light-green in color. You may have to start and stop and mix the ingredients up a bit for proper blending. Top with flax, chia, and walnuts. YUM! THE ADIRONDACKER Use local berries to delight your senses and regenerate your body with healthy antioxidants. Ingredients Smoothie 6-8 oz. oat milk ½ cup frozen blueberries ½ cup frozen strawberries ½ cup frozen raspberries Toppings ¼ cup WildFlora Granola ¼ cup fresh blueberries 1 Tbsp. bee pollen Honey, drizzled Directions In a blender, add milk and all the berries. Blend on high. May need to stop and start a few times to get all ingredients to blend. Smoothie will come out very thick. Put smoothie in a bowl, top with blueberries and granola. Sprinkle with bee pollen and drizzle with honey.
