A Cycle in Time

Fall, winter, spring and summer –
how quickly time passes by.
Yet, Nature's beauty is there to see
whenever we take the time.
Fall
Waterfalls and turning leaves
beckon us to come –
And sit and be and feel her there
to calm us, relax us some.
Winter
Water freezes, our breath we see –
icicles, snow and cold.
We hunker down – it's wintertime;
"keep warm" is what we're told.
Spring
Spring arouses everything –
sprouting and budding the gain.
Saps rise up, life renews;
and blossoms are kissed by rain.
Summer
Summer speaks to us of warmth;
rainbows and sunsets are there.
Leaves and grasses are green again
and yet, are we aware
That Nature's gifts are there for us,
listen . . . watch . . . and see,
To accept the changes and live our
lives –
Nature's model is the key.
