LOCALadk 42 Tele ADK The first Sunday of March is Tele ADK day at the home hill, Mount Pisgah. A full day of tele skiing love from burly plastic boots to leathers and XCD skis. Ski dem- os are available all day from Noco, High Peaks Cyclery, The Mountaineer, 22 Designs, Scarpa, and G3. The af- ternoon brings tele competitions like the real deal tele race and tele limbo. The event rounds out with a gear raffle from our club sponsors. A lot can be said about what this event means to the club and the community, but you'll have to come visit us yourselves on March 1st to get in on the fun. What's Next? Beyond hosting ski meets and events Noco is proud to partner with other groups like BETA and the ADK Powder Skiers' Association to promote backcountry recreation in the Adirondacks. They hope to reinforce these core groups and help foster a culture of fun, safe, and responsible winter outdoor recreation. They are also proud to collaborate with other Telemark groups like Tele Colo to bring ski films and content to the ADK region. They are always looking to grow as a group and help more people find joy in sliding on snow. Shout-outs, please! Noco Kneedroppers is proud to work with J Skis and 22 Designs within their demo fleet. If you don't know, J Skis is owned and operated by NY native Jason Leven- thal out of Burlington V T. Their skis are made just over the border in Ontario and feature quality construction that is telemark compatible. Just like the Noco crew, they prioritize skiing for fun. Literally the best skis that are built and sold the closest to the North country of any available manufacturer. They are proud to partner with 22 Designs for their binding needs. 22 is owned and operated by Clarkson University Alums out of Driggs Idaho. They do a phenomenal job of keeping our feet on our skis and standing behind their products.
