By hot I mean molten lava hot and by cold I mean lots of winter sport ideas to help get you outside and into the snow! Our Adirondack winters can seem a little long so we wanted to share inspiring stories that may just help you kick the blues by embracing the white stuff. We have ten great stories from people who are following their dreams, pushing themselves to the limit, and making the best out of this great park. We share creative and inspirational work from 16 passionate photographers and more than 40 adver- tisers. Our advertisers support LOCALadk based on our integrity and total commitment to produce a high quality publication. A portion of our profits will as always go to support both local and global non-profit organizations. As Editor I am fortunate to work closely with ev- eryone that helps makes this publication possible and for that I am grateful. I also have the tough job of choosing the stories with which we accept and showcase. The greatest asset of the Adirondack Park is the people who live and adventure here.
