Corkcicle is a company that believes that when life is savored
one sip at a time, the world can be a pretty refreshing place. We
agree, and want to help you keep your favorite beverage cold
this summer.
Sometimes the gear reviews are simply about fun and hip prod-
ucts that help make life a little more enjoyable. When I found
Corkcicle and the Arctican, a koozie that actually keeps your drink
cold, I was intrigued, and wanted to learn what else they made.
As the product line is about keeping our favorite drinks cold and
fresh, it made it a perfect idea to share with our summer readers.
Most summer outings, adventures or BBQs include the element
of a cold drink at some point. Keeping glass products out of the
wilderness is also a benefit of this product.
We opted to try three products that we thought best suited our
demographics, and tested the Arctican, Canteen, and the Chill-
sner.
The Arctican works by unscrewing the bottom of the koozie and
putting it in the freezer until ready for use. Keeps drink cold for
about 30 minutes and can be used with can or bottle. The stain-
less steel canteen claims to keep your drink cold for up to 25
hours. We tested it and after almost 36 hours the water was cold
and refreshing. It also can keep liquid hot for up to 12 hours. The
canteen is available in 4 sizes, is triple insulated and has a non-
slip bottom. The Chillsner is a unique drink- through beer chiller.
Simply freeze it and insert into any standard size bottle. Think
adult beverage straw that keeps your favorite drink cool to the
last sip.
