The new Adirondack Health–Lake Placid Health and
Medical Fitness Center in Lake Placid will include a
brand-new emergency department, health center, the
o ces of Lake Placid Sports Medicine, a medical fi tness
center including hydro-therapy and a 3-lane lap pool, our
dental clinic and o ces for part-time and visiting specialty
physicians with an emphasis on preventative care, fi tness
and rehabilitation in a world-class facility.
Healthcare as we know it is changing. With an increasing emphasis on prevention
and well-being, it is critical that we continue to be ahead of the curve in our approach
to patient and resident care.
We've designed a new Surgical Services Department in
Saranac Lake that refl ects the skills of our world-class team
of surgeons and places the comfort and convenience of
our patients fi rst. This new construction supports a growing
service line, includes a fi xed-site MRI, provides more spacious
operating suites to accommodate new technology and
equipment, and will assist in recruiting new physicians.
