How long have you lived in Tupper Lake? What
makes it special?
45 Years. What is special to me is the fishing, hunt-
ing and the scenery. I always have my camera to
take pictures of the beautiful scenery.
What do you do for work?
I am retired now but I have many hobbies and own
Mountain Man Crafts
What is it you love about ice fishing?
I love just being out there and fishing with my
friends and meeting new friends.
Best ice fishing tale?
17" ¾ lb, it was pretty big
What do you love about the Adirondacks?
The mountains, lakes and woods and all that it has
to offer
Who has influenced you the most in your life?
I come from a big family, there were 14 kids so you
had to "fight" for food. My Mom definitely had the
biggest influence on me.
Family?
I am married with 2 daughters, 3 stepchildren and a
foster child. I also have grandchildren who love to
fish with their "Papa".
Hobbies?
I make Adirondack Furniture and white birch frames
(Mountain Man Crafts). I love nature and take pic-
tures of wildlife, foliage, and kayaking adventures.
I used to have a fishing shop and I like to help get
kids interested in fishing and camping.
