Contact him about creating content for your website or business at eric.adsit@gmail.com Jake JAKE SPORN is a freelance photographer from the Adirondacks and a Paul Smith's graduate with a Bachelors of Business Management and Entrepreneurial Studies, and minor in Natural Resource Sustainability. Sporn has always used photography to document the different activities in his life: skiing, paddling, beekeeping, and just the everyday. He can be found wandering through the woods, in search of new ways to connect to the Adirondacks and the wilderness as a whole. GARRETT KOPP: I am a 19-year-old outdoorsman born and raised in Tupper Lake. Lifestyle entrepreneurship has been a part of my identity long before I consciously knew what it meant to be an "entrepreneur." My previous ventures include newspaper delivery, a copyright share in a novel about my life, and a YouTube channel focused on Adirondack life. My experiences and academics allowed me to be accepted into Clarkson University's school of business, where I am happily pursuing my degree and startup company. Garrett Anne ANNE BREWER lives in Lake Placid with her husband, Peter Evans, his daughter Ellie, and their dog Juni. She is an avid outdoor sports enthusiast, kayaker, hiker, skier, photographer, and traveler. She has a passion for Central and South America and enjoys visiting places that are off the beaten path. Anne earned a degree in International Business and Communications from SUNY Brockport. In addition to being the Managing Editor for LOCALadk, Anne guides for Adventures in Good Company, and operates her own summer business: Placid Waters Kayaking. Who's Who MIKE KAZ: I've been fishing my whole life, and fly fishing exclusively since 1994. I've worked in the outdoor and fly fishing Industry since 1995 as a guide, shop manager, sales rep, and regional sales manager. Now, I manage the fly fishing and men's apparel departments at The Mountaineer. Mike GRETEL H. SCHUELLER is an award-winning journalist and book author. She writes about science, food, and the environment—in no particular order. She's a James Beard Award finalist. In the course of her food writing, she's eaten backyard weeds, munched on crickets, harvested cactus buds in Arizona, made goat cheese in Greece, and recreated a hunter-gatherer meal in the Texas desert. She has held editorial positions at several national magazines, including Audubon and Eating Well. She lives in Essex, New York. Gretel SARAH HART is a writer, and also managing editor of theelephant.press, a publication about diverse perspectives and truths. She moved back to the Adirondacks five years ago, and lives on Osgood Pond with her fiance and their wonderful baby daughter, two English mastiffs, and cat. Sarah
