Directions
In a medium pot heat water, tea, cloves, a cinnamon stick,
ginger and cardamom. Bring to a boil turn down and let
simmer 5 minutes. Add the sugar and milk. Bring back up
to a boil but watch closely so liquids don't boil over. Strain
and ser ve.
Health Benefits— Black tea, clove, and cinnamon all con-
tain high antioxidant levels. Cardamom helps with im-
mune response. Ginger aids in digestion. Cloves can help
with aches and pains.
Ingredients:
2 cups water
¼ cup Assam black tea
6 whole cloves
1 whole cinnamon stick
1 slice of fresh ginger
20 cardamom seeds or 5 cardamom pods broken open
2 cups milk of choice
4 Tbsp organic sugar
Spiced Chai
