NUTS.
e energy was so thick inside the arena that evening that you could almost gather it in your
hands and throw it. Twenty-eight kids between the ages of 4 and 15, most of whom had nev-
er worn ice skates in their lives until two months previously, skated proudly out onto the ice
of the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, New York. ey were there to perform during the
first intermission for the Utica Comets and were welcomed by a standing ovation.
