This dazzling warm up to dinner will set the tempo
when you are entertaining. We use local Sugar House
Creamery Little Dickens cheese, honey infused with cay-
enne and fresh organic walnuts to achieve appetizer ex-
cellence
Ingredients:
1 Little Dickens Cheese rounds (you can use another brie
style soft cheese with a rind)
¼ cup Local Raw Honey
¼ teaspoon Cayenne
½ cup Organic Walnuts - chopped
Fresh Apples - sliced
Crackers
Rosemary sprig to garnish
Recipe:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Unwrap the Little Dickens, make a few slits on the top. Put in a 9" pan. Bake in the oven for 15
minutes. While brie is baking in a small saucepan on low heat add the walnuts. Toast them for 5 minutes stirring often. Then add
the honey and cayenne. Cook for 3 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Take the brie out of the oven, top with the honey and walnut mixture. Top with chopped fresh rosemary. Serve with apples, crack-
ers or by the spoonful.
