Broth Recipe:
1. If you have a mortar and pestle or spice grinder, crush spices a little.
2. In a medium saucepan, heat coconut oil and add spices.
3. Cook for several minutes until fragrant. Then add the rest of the ingredients through
the turmeric.
4. Continue to cook 5-10 minutes, until vegetables are starting to become sof t and
translucent.
5. Add 8 cups of water and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low.
6. Simmer for a minimum of 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
7. Strain out solids and return broth to the saucepan to bring back to a boil.
8. Finish with the zest and juice of half a lime and season with salt.
