W H O ' S W H O ERIC Eric Adsit can't cross a bridge without looking for a river beneath it. He calls Lake Placid home and spends as much time as possible on the rivers, trails, and mountains of the Adirondacks and beyond. When he's not helping with LOCALadk, he can usually be found with a camera in hand producing films and photos celebrating the outdoors and the communities found in the Adirondacks. RHIANNON Rhiannon Berry Adsit runs, bikes, swims, and writes whenever and wherever she can, gets unreasonably excited about beautiful trees, and has never met a dog she didn't love. Born and raised in North Syracuse, NY, she seeks to instill hope, empathy, and kindness (and vicarious fandom for Syracuse Universtiy Basketball) in her high school English students and beyond. When she isn't writing, teaching, or playing outdoors, she loves to read, play music, and spend time with loved ones. ANNE Anne Brewer lives in Lake Placid. She is an avid outdoor sports enthusiast, kayaker, hiker, skier, photographer, and traveler. Anne earned a degree in International Business and Communications from SUNY Brockport. In addition to her work with LOCALadk , Anne guides for Adventures in Good Company which leads worldwide hiking and kayaking trips for women. Anne is also a Real Estate Agent with Merrill L. Thomas out of Lake Placid. LOCALadk JENNA Jenna Audlin moved to Lake Clear in the winter of 2021 and is a student at Saranac Lake High School. She loves the outdoors and is an aspiring environmental educator. She also has authored The Adirondack Explore More Challenge for Kids, an activity book for kids and their families as they explore in the Tri-Lakes. She is passionate about protecting the environment and is a proud part of The Wild Center's youth climate program. BRITTA As a fifth-generation summer Seventh Lake resident Britta Hennessy has always dreamed of spending her days in the Adirondacks. Those dreams became reality in 2016 when she and her husband quit their jobs in Manhattan to move to the Adirondacks full time. They co-founded Great Pines resort and now reside in Inlet, NY. She and her husband Devlin feel grateful and privileged to live in the ADK year-round and are busy raising their two small boys Olin (5) and Vale (3). TAMMY Tammy Morgan teaches Advanced Placement environmental science and chemistry for Lake Placid Central School District. Over her career, she has helped to develop a number of environmental and climate programs for young people, has been a part of research initiatives and educational exchange programs across the United States, Canada, and Finland, and is the lead advisor for a student-operated composting business. Tammy holds a deep love for soil and regenerative agriculture, rugby, winter, and her family.
