Thule Perspektiv M Toploader

Timing can be everything with photography. There is nothing worse than being at the right
place at the right time and NOT having your camera. A small point and shoot is usually easy
to take with you everywhere you go. However, if you are a photographer who uses any type
of larger, SLR camera, you know it can be difficult to protect it from damage and still have it
have accessible at all times.
To solve this problem, Thule has
created a number of great camera
bags for the active person. This
summer I field tested the Thule
Perspektiv M Toploader. I shoot
with a Canon Rebel T3 and an
18-135 mm lens. The Thule bag
kept my camera safe, yet allowed
me to access it quickly while
hiking. It's made with Cloudburst
construction with minimized
seams that are welded and
taped, as well as a DWR (durable
water repellent) treated fabric
for weather resistance. The bag
can be worn several different
ways depending on your needs.
I carried it for five days on a hut-to-hut hiking trip in British Columbia, and was able to
modified it to be worn on my upper leg so I could wear a full pack, yet have quick and easy
frontal access to my camera.
