Cheers to the changing of seasons. The Adirondacks
blessed us with a pretty amazing summer. It was filled
with some rain and escapees in June but then plenty
of sunshine in July and August. Every town and ham-
let worked hard to provide services, entertainment,
events and races and so many other unique ways to
enjoy the park. Thank you too for all the fresh fruits,
vegetables and meats provided by so many great local
farmers.
Now its time to watch the magic happen as our trees
start to turn to the bright reds, oranges and yellows
that will soon fill our forests. Please enjoy our fall issue
that will introduce you to the art of mushroom dying,
tempt your taste buds with Thai noodles, and quench
your thirst for both beer and wine. We also share a
story about an epic paddle trip, done by a group of lo-
cals, great roads on which to motorcycle, a behind the
scenes look at where music is being made locally, and
who is it that helps keep our trails looking so good.
Those stories and more await, so enjoy your free is-
sue or digital copy and please help us spread the word
by sharing your copy or by liking us on Facebook. We
continue to appreciate all the support we receive from
both local and seasonal residents as well as the many
visitors to the region.
Happy fall,
Anne Brewer
