Spring brings with it a fresh canvas and a pal- ate of green in every shade. It offers a fresh start. LOCA- Ladk is excited to be star ng its 4th year of providing fun and interes ng stories and amazing photos to those who either live in the park, visit or simply love it from afar. With each issue we are looking for new ways to become more involved with all the great communi es and to give back to the park in one way or another. Helping local busi- nesses and non-profits succeed has always been an im- portant part of our vision. We are currently working hard on a new campaign that will allow us one more way to make a difference in the park. Stay tuned for details in the summer issue. This issue we take you through, around and even under the park. We bring you a story of our younger genera on passionate about protec ng the future of the park. Ad- venture stories that may have you visi ng your local bike shop if you don't already own a bike or two. Hiking trails that require boots and "trails" that require an interest in art. As always there is a recipe that is hard to resist as well as local peanut bu er companies taking it to the next lev- el. Those stories and more make up this exci ng issue and will hopefully inspire you to get out and enjoy the spring and maybe try something new. Local businesses need our support more than ever and we are grateful for those who con nue to be such an im- portant part of our magazine.
