Who's Who KIM RIELLY is the director of communications for the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST), the destination marketing organization responsible for promoting a huge chunk of the Adirondacks. An almost- lifelong resident of the region, she grew up in Westport and now resides in Moriah with her husband Kevin Boyle and dog Katie. She enjoys paddling, hiking, cycling, motorcycling and skiing, and according to Instagram, taking selfies with her dog. But mostly, she's pleased and proud that it's her job to promote the amazing Adirondack destination experience for the economic benefit of those of us who are fortunate to call the region home. Kim MIM FRANTZ has been living and recreating in the Lake Placid area for almost two decades. As a writer, she had the opportunity to write personal accounts of learning to snowboard, telemark-ski, rock climb, ice climb, compete in a triathlon, paddleboard, sky dive, and fly-fish - most of which she still enjoys regularly today. Among her favorite outdoor times is a quiet, sunlit backcountry ski tour, a meditative open water swim, and mountain-top yoga. She is a former member of the US Figure Skating Team: before moving to the Adirondacks she worked in production for ABC Sports and skated professionally in the Ice Capades. Today she earns a living in a combination of her passions that include coaching/choreographing for competitive skaters, teaching yoga, and event planning/designs with Juniper Events. At home, everyday is an adventure with her husband, three boys, and dog BO. Mim MANUEL PALACIOS is a scientist and outdoor photographer based out of Upstate New York in the Saratoga County area.
