trepreneurs popping up all over the Adirondacks. He has created a
successful business around a medicinal mushroom that grows on
live birch. The mushroom is dried, ground, and made into tea.

dacks. These locations are worth the extra effort and will leave

Running Through The park:
A road race with teams of 12 relay runners completing over 220
miles just so they can have a cold Saranac Beer at the end. The
race starts on top of Whiteface and ends at the Saranac Brew-
ery in Utica. Teamwork is the key to success in this race.

Creating a shared space for local farmers and entrepreneurs to
create and sell handmade and home grown products.
Teachable ADK Moments:
Learn how to fly fish at this special camp hosted by The Moun-
taineer in Keene Valley. The goal is to use positive teachable
moments to create a memorable fishing experience.
